We have devised this simple process in order to make it as clear and transparent for you to follow as possible. The aim of this is to help artists focus on their areas of skill and expertise.
We will share a 'Promotion Handbook' with you where we will record activities so you can keep up to date with progress. We can also review progress in the monthly mentoring sessions.
There is a deliberate order to this promotion process: in order to make connections it is hugely helpful to have a release to pitch, talk about, or use to gain an introduction. In order to have a release - you need all your foundations in place; communicating professionally, clearly and concisely who you are and what you have to offer.
The table illustrates the pattern and time-weighting of how we move through the 3 areas in turn during the 12 months of your promotion contract; giving an indication of what % of time within your contract is spent on each area.
Communicate | Release | Connect | |
---|---|---|---|
Q1 | 80% | 0% | 5% |
Q2 | 10% | 60% | 5% |
Q3 | 5% | 30% | 40% |
Q4 | 5% | 10% | 50% |
