Cultivate your sound and develop your music. It's all about preparing the ground so that you can create truly outstanding work. No amount of hard work, money or connections can compensate for average music, so cultivating your sound is essential. We make your recordings the best that they can be and always quote the total fee you pay per production so you don’t end up having to pay for extra days in the studio.
We will work with you to ensure you are writing material that people want to hear and connect with. We will help to sharpen your approach to writing with feedback and ensure that we achieve the sound that you’re after with your recordings. Here’s what we cover...
We will feedback on the song and where needed, highlight ways to develop hooks, improve lyrics and strengthen arrangements. This can be done face-to-face or over email...we’re always kind and constructive as there’s no such thing as a bad song...some are just not yet finished :)
Whilst some artists bring material that can’t be improved, we give artists the opportunity to work with co-writers. Sessions can be done face-to-face but can also be done from distance. The aim is to realise the vision of the song and artist.
When working with our team, you will have a designated producer. They will speak with you regarding direction, discussion references and make sure everyone is on the same page. They will also make sure you’re fully prepared for the recording sessions.
With top recording facilities and experienced producers, we create recordings that will impress industry connections and give your fans something they want to stick on repeat. Here’s what we cover...
To create the best recordings, we like to get artists working in a creative environment. Artists working with Sound Consultancy have the opportunity to record at Olivers Studio in Gloucestershire; a residential studio with 3 recording rooms and on-site accommodation for those travelling from a distance. Artists will have a designated producer and engineer to bring the best out of the artist and session players.
As standard we offer session players at no extra cost. For people after specialist players (strings, brass, harp, kazoo) there may be a surcharge however live drummers, guitarists, bassists, keys players and backing vocalists are on hand. Wherever possible, we like to get everyone together to make the magic happen.
Time, care and attention is given to the editing process to deliver the very best natural-sounding performances.
The songs we produce wont sound out of place on the radio. Having helped dozens of acts achieve radio play, we ensure the mixes are broadcast quality and really bring the songs to life.
As standard, we offer to master all our productions for artists. The finishing touches are put to the audio and a DDP master can be created for CD manufacturing including embedded metadata.
With a vast experience of releasing records, we can help you get distribution channels lined up and offer advice on how to look after your rights effectively. Here’s what we cover...
We can offer advice on digital aggregators and alternative methods of distribution online. For artists looking for label services and physical solutions we can also point them in the right direction.
Having worked with a range of manufacturers over the past decade, we can offer recommendations and introductions in this field. We can also share a guide on how to prepare your artwork for manufacturing.
With over a decade of experience in publishing, we can offer help with understanding how to protect your songs and recordings whilst also maximising potential income streams in the area.
