Tom Price — 9 November 2016
This week sees the next Galaxies Collide event following the hugely successful launch night with Hot Vox at The Underbelly, Hoxton Square. Thursday 10th November, we will be showcasing the hottest up and coming acts from across the nation with an audience comprising of industry guests and loyal fans. Philippa Hanna will be headlining the evening with support from Nikki Loy, Ben McKelvey and Ben Westwood so it is not a night you want to miss! Grab your tickets here.
Last week we spoke about Nikki Loy’s acclaimed supporting tour to Shane Filan of Westlife, but there is no rest for her success. This week it has been officially announced that Nikki will be supporting X Factor Winner Sam Bailey on her national tour in Spring 2017, congratulations Nikki!
Ben Westwood officially released his debut video “Falling” in anticipation of his upcoming single release on the 18th November. With such a poignant message, especially following the discovery that he wrote the song weeks before his wife was diagnosed with cancer, Ben describes the debut single being special to him as it is “almost like a postcard from a previous life”. Pre-order the single here.
Kill For Eden are teasing us this week by releasing a short clip on their Instagram @killforeden from their debut video release “Love You So” which is out 11th November. The rocky female fronted band are expecting to break waves with the eagerly awaited single launch on the 25th November. Keep your eyes out for their video on Friday!
We can’t seem to keep Philippa Hanna in one place! We are so happy to have her headlining our Galaxies Collide event tomorrow but once again she is jetting around the world days later! As a representative for the latest campaign by Leprosy Mission UK, Philippa is flying to India to get involved with the filming process to aid building awareness for the incredible work the charity carries out on a day to day basis. Follow Philippa on her social media to keep up to date with all her latest work.
